Company History 

LaFaver’s Painting was started by David LaFaver over 20 years ago. His son, Nathan, joined the family business soon after he married in 2008. David and Nathan partnered in this endeavor for the next several years until Nathan became sole-proprietor of LaFaver’s Painting LLC in 2016. David stayed on as an employee of the business and worked alongside his son. Though an employee on paper, David was at the heart of what made this a successful family business. As Nathan took more of a managerial role, David continued to work alongside the employees day after day, encouraging and supporting them, but also welcoming them into the family business.

Tragedy struck in May of 2023, when David passed away unexpectedly, doing what he loved—painting.  Saying goodbye to this special part of the family has left a large hole both in our hearts and in the family business. We have continued to persevere and grow this business with full gratitude for what David started. Nathan continues to honor his father in his endeavor to grow and shape LaFaver’s Painting into a family company ready to welcome the next generation.

LaFaver’s Painting LLC exists for a greater purpose than financial growth. Our vision is two-fold. Our first goal is to leave a heritage for the LaFaver name as we carry on our work with integrity and honor. Our second goal is to serve our valued neighbors in the North Country with excellence. We want our neighbors to be proud of our work and to truly enjoy the experience of our skill, professionalism, and good old-fashioned friendliness as we complete their project.
